The 2010 Folk Alliance Region West Coast (FAR-West) Conference will be held Oct. 21-24, 2010, at the downtown San Jose Marriott in San Jose California. - 2010 Northeast Regional Folk Alliance – Kerhonkson, NY – November 11-14 2010
The conference includes: workshops, panel discussions, seminars, an exhibit hall, formal showcases in the nightclub, and private and guerilla showcases. - 23nd Annual International Folk Alliance Conference – Memphis, TN – February 16 - 20, 2011
This is the premier professional development conference focused on folk, roots multicultural and world music in North America. All official Folk Alliance events will take place in the Marriott and the adjoining Cook Convention Center. Folk Alliance is working hard to build a true family event and encourages you to come in early or stay late in order to take advantage of everything that Memphis has to offer. We’ll be there for all the fun!

Ford Motors/Oasis sponsored contest with multiple exposure opportunities and the chance to record with Grammy-Winning producer Don Was The Manhattan Short Film Festival screened in 54 venues in 32 states across the USA. It is the largest public vote on short films in the world and the ultimate venue for a young director’s celluloid calling card. Oasis is the official DVD manufacturer for this exciting event! Various dates and locations, songwriting workshops throughout the country for adults, and the very special Kid Pan Alley Projects for children. Each month, JPF Music selects between 8 to 10 independent artists to play either 3 songs or 15 Minutes, usually in the Parish Room at the House of Blues, New Orleans. Artists perform before talent buyers, music critics, and a crowd that averages from one to two hundred per show.
